I don’t know about others but the idea of starting something new has always baffled me. I love to get up everyday to start something new. Bonus if it involves writing.

I don’t know if other people know about this, but learning to do something new expands your knowledge and your mental power to do things better. So, it’s a great mental exercise and activity.

The mind is full of wonders and we can become it’s explorers. Trying new things makes mind more able and you get to explore what more you can do. Like calligraphy, painting, sketching, journaling, etc basically all kinds of arts.

Art is something that needs real mental exercise because of the creativity we need for it. So having arts as a hobby is a great way to do something new for mental exercise or other interests.

You should if you can try something new everyday. It will keep you motivated and interested in life. Like work, so is recreation. It’s important. Try to make time for activities that are other than work.

Recreation is like practice for work because it gives your mind enjoyment that is needs equal to work.

Our minds have two sides, one is sophisticated and related to work and the other is arts and all creative. For our brains to function well we need to keep both the sides enthusiastic and interested.

Recreation induces mental activity and personal interests in all things, even in work. Who doesn’t get stressed over exhaustion from work? This habit can prevent that. Have a new interest and it will keep you interested and engaged for the rest of the days and the rest of your lives.
